Mitrefinch Web-based employee self-service function enables employees to clock their time wherever they are located. Employees can access the Mitrefinch software from their portable laptop computers, or from iPhones, Android phones, Blackberry devices, and tablets.

Clockings are immediately downloaded to the database, where managers, supervisors, and administrators can view them in real time. Not only does this reduce errors and improve the accuracy of time tracking, it also cuts down on the amount of time spent by administrators tracking the time and attendance of employees in several different locations.

In addition to clocking in and out, employees can also use the web-based self-service function to check previous hours worked, request time off, view remaining vacation and personal days, ask for shift changes, and view schedules. Request made to managers and supervisors are done online directly through the system, reducing the amount of time needed for face-to-face meetings. The system allows the supervisor or manager to approve or deny requests with just a few clicks.
